Recap of our Vivid On the Water 2024 Event

On Saturday, June 8th, 15 Riviera vessels gathered for our annual Vivid on the Water event. Hosted for the third consecutive year by R Marine Sydney, this event continues to grow in popularity.

Boats began arriving at our wharf in the early afternoon, where guests enjoyed drinks while being assigned their overnight berths. After a safety briefing on navigating Sydney Harbour after dark, we set off at 6 p.m. for a mesmerising 1.5-hour cruise, showcasing the stunning VIVID lights from the best vantage points along the harbour.

The evening was perfect, with clear skies and calm seas. Each Riviera was filled with family and friends relishing the sights from their boats. Callum Rogers from Crog Films captured breathtaking footage of our fleet cruising the harbour, earning admiration from onlookers and fellow boaters alike.

After the cruise, our 100 guests gathered on the wharf for live music and a sumptuous winter feast. This year, we partnered with Ever Safe Electrical and Shoredial , who lit up and worked on the Opera Bar for Vivid and transformed our wharf into a vibrant, colourful atmosphere. The night was filled with laughter and music, extending well into the early hours.

The following morning, we treated our clients to Sunday newspapers, coffee, freshly baked croissants, and pastries before departure. Our location, just a leisurely 2 km walk from Darling Harbour and the City Centre, provided the perfect opportunity for many to extend their stay and enjoy a city escape during the long weekend.
