Recently, we’ve had the privilege of hosting new owners of a stunning Riviera 505 SUV on our wharf. During their stay, the owners embarked on a Sydney Harbour adventure with their family to explore cruising around our beautiful harbour. The day before their weekend adventure, the owners strolled to the Sydney Fish Market, conveniently close to our marina, to stock up on fresh fish for lunch.
After cruising around Sydney Harbour’s iconic landmarks on Saturday, they anchored at Store Beach and enjoyed a seafood lunch. They spent the afternoon exploring the area by tender, swimming, and walking along the beach.
The owners were eager to try out the newly opened restaurant at St. Siandra. They made reservations earlier in the week to visit the restaurant by boat and arranged overnight night berthing at D’Albora Marina, which is nearby and just a 10-minute walk away.
St. Siandra, a Mediterranean-inspired waterfront restaurant, boasts a bar situated on a private strip of beach. The owners enjoyed pre-dinner drinks in comfortable deck chairs while watching a spectacular sunset before dinner.
To start, they were served generously portioned scallops Rockefeller, which were topped with a delectable sauce. They ordered spaghetti with garlic chilli oil and king prawns, lamb shoulder with broccoli gremolata, pomegranates, za’atar, and Angus short ribir main course skewers. All the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. Regrettably, they were too satiated to sample any dessert.
It was an overall very positive experience for them. They commented on how friendly and professional the staff were, as well as how relaxing the atmosphere was and are already planning their next visit.
Note: Access the restaurant’s entrance through the car park next to the Middle Harbour Yacht Club.
